I am Inspired....My testimony

Have you ever been in a place where you felt you were on an island all unto yourself but there were people all around you. You had this deserted feeling, knowing your not a castaway but in a place of quiet reserve where no one could understand how you were truly feeling within. Grief feels like this. No one can really describe what one experiences because its different for each individual.

I've experienced grief. It's not a great feeling or place to be in. It is often a very lonely place. No one quite understands where you are in the process because its always cycling. It is even hard for the person who is grieving at times to gauge. What I learned in my last experience is how I desperately desired to talk to Jesus about my feelings but how difficult I found it to formulate a thought. All I knew was, I was sad. I tried numerous times. With each time I cried because I did not know what to do, my mind was a blank slate. Nothing was there just sadness.

I truly felt as if I was on a deserted island all unto myself, although there were many people around me. One evening, a friend of mine was on Face book and I asked him to pray for me. He asked me what was going on and I shared with him that which I am sharing with you now. He said, I want to share something with you and he posted the sermon by Pastor Cymbala, (which I posted for everyone on our main page). He said you have to watch the whole sermon.

I watched it. I let him know when I finished. The sermon touched me deeply. My friend said. I asked you to watch the sermon because I wanted you to know that I have been going to battle for you. And I want you to understand that you are covered in prayer.

Prayer family, it was not enough that God used him that evening. It was Friday night, the sun had set and Sabbath was here. I went to church the following morning and God spoke through the pastor regarding prayer. Daniel 6:10-17. When I left the church that afternoon, the Holy Spirit said simply "Shana talk to me. I want you to talk to me."

Understand, hours passed by, not because I didn't want to talk to God, but because I was looking for my voice. It wasn't until midnight when I got into my bed, I laid there and the same thing which happened before the blank slate feeling came again and tears welled up in my eyes. I said to God, I want to talk to you but I don't know how to move past the pain and sadness. Please help me. Show me how. The words did not flow out quickly. Matter of fact it was only 5 to 8 words and that was it.

God took his time and comforted me and helped me to move past the pain and sadness of my loss. I share this with you because I am inspired too.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven, Your faithfulness endures to all generations. He (God) sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return unto Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. And He (the Word) prayed in John 17:4. I have glorified You on earth. I have completed the work, You sent Me to do. And on the cross, the Word cried out "It is finished". And He God has already said, "I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it"

Put the Word of God into Action- "YOU SHALL ALSO DECIDE AND DECREE A THING, AND IT SHALL BE ESTABLISHED FOR YOU, AND THE LIGHT OF GOD'S FAVOR SHALL SHINE UPON YOUR WAYS" JOB 22:27,28

He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18

He is healing me... I am inspired.

Affirmation to Pray Over Our Children/Grandchildren(those here and yet to come)

I shared this with the prayer family last week and was impressed to share it with you this morning. Keep praying for your children and grandchildren. Jesus will dispatch a legion of angels to attend to your child/grandchild; but you must ask. Also recognize that only one angel is needed. Thank you Jesus. Jesus please forgive us for not covering our children/grandchildren in prayer. Forgive us if we have given up on them and Help us to lift them up to you. Please help us as their parents/grandparents to raise them in your admonition, because with each new birth is a new generation for you.Amen.

04 April at 11:18
Good Morning Prayer Family,

As I went through this week I received numerous phone calls from my two eldest children as I always do. But it was my youngest child calling to see how I was doing, that I asked the Father about my children. Shortly thereafter I received another call from my sister. She told me my nephew was in a car accident (she called me back later to tell me my nephew played an April fools joke on her.) However, what I gleaned from it was serious. Our children need prayer. This morning I received a phone call from my friend of 22 years. We have a covenant friendship. Doesn't matter where we are in the world, we never lose time even though we don't talk to one another for months. We spoke about her daughter, Imani; her name means "Faith" I know, I named her. It was my final confirmation.
So this week I am praying for our children, grandchildren and for those who are planning to have children in the future. Pray with me. Not just this week. But print this off and pray it continually over your children, grandchildren and for your children to come.

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; we thank You and praise You for the promises in Your Word concerning our children(grandchildren). We affirm now that all our children(grandchildren) shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of our children(grandchildren)according to Isaiah 54:13.

We thank You and praise You for the Salvation of our children(grandchildren) and pray that they will love the Lord God with all their heart, with all their soul and with all their mind, might and strength and love their neighbor as thyself; according to Your Word in Deuteronomy 6:5, Mark 12:30 and Matthew 22:37-39.

According to Your Word in 2 Corinthians 5:21, our children(grandchildren) are the righteousness of God in Him. And they are the head and not the tail as promised in Deuteronomy 28:13. He who began a good work in our children(grandchildren) will continue it until the days of Jesus Christ, as found in Philippians 1:6.

We thank You, Heavenly Father, that our children(grandchildren) honor their father and mother according to Deuteronomy 5:16. And we do not provoke our children(grandchildren) to wrath but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord as instructed in Ephesians 6:4. According to Philippians 2:3-4, We pray that nothing will be done by our children(grandchildren) through selfish ambition or conceit. We praise God, the Father in Heaven; that He is able to make all grace abound to our children(grandchildren), that they will always have all sufficiency in all good things, and may have abundance for every good work according to His Word in 2 Corinthians 9:8.

As written in Ephesians 5:17, our children(grandchildren) are not unwise but understand what the will of the Lord is. In Colossians 4:6, the Word says their speech is always with grace, seasoned with salt that they might know how to answer each one. According to Psalms 34:10, our children(grandchildren) seek the Lord and shall not lack any good thing. The Lord pours out His Spirit on our offspring and His Blessings on our descendants as written.

In Isaiah 49:25-26, it is written that the Lord contends with those who contend with our children(grandchildren). Heavenly Father, according to Your Word in Psalms 112:2-3; our children(grandchildren) will be mighty on this earth and the generations of the upright will be Blessed and the Lord gives us increase more and more, us and our children(grandchildren).

Behold how good and pleasant it is for our children(grandchildren) to dwell together in unity as promised in Your Word in Psalms 133:1. According to Your Word in 2 John 1:2; our children(grandchildren) prosper in all things and are in health, even as their souls prosper.

In 2 Peter 1:3-4, Your divine power has given to our children(grandchildren) all things that pertain to Life and Godliness...and they have been given exceedingly great and precious promises. The Lord blesses our children(grandchildren) and keeps them. He makes His face to shine upon our children and grandchildren and He is gracious unto them. He lifts up His countenance upon them and gives them peace according to His Word in Numbers 6:23-26.

Thank You Heavenly Father that our children(grandchildren) are kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another as promised in Your Word in Romans 12:10. According to Your Word in 1 John 2:20, our children(grandchildren have an anointing from the Holy One and they know all things. to God be the Glory. Amen

Another step in My Journey

Below is a greeting and prayer I've recently written a prayer ministry that I started in 2007 as a means for God to teach me consistency. The ministry belongs to God but he chose me to facilitate. I have been blessed by this portion of my journey. Moreover what you are about to read is in reference to my most recent experience with God. An experience God refers to as "The Wells".

I pray that this is a blessing to you. I shall continue to share my experience with you as God continues to fill the wells with "Living Water" John 4, Genesis. 26. Members of this ministry have receive weekly experience and prayer from me. The ministry is on Face book. Its called The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much If you are on Face book and interested in joining please do so. Blessing to you.

Good Evening Prayer Family,

Blessing to you in the Name of our Father in Heaven and His Son Our Savior Christ Jesus and The Comforter The Holy Spirit.

I would like to continue this greeting by saying you all have been in my prayers and I have specifically asked God on all of our behalf what to pray for regarding the Prayer Family. His Word. SURRENDER.

With this weeks prayer I will post a series of songs to encourage you throughout the week as you prayerfully begin or continue your journey of surrendering.

I would like to share a portion of my testimony which some have been privy too. I have been on a specific journey with God which begin in January 2010. A journey which was quoted by a friend as "this is going to be a good one". I agreed. However, It did not "feel" this way in the beginning. God worked diligently on my behalf in moments of sheer fear and frustration, misunderstandings and moment of emotional breakdowns.

He was consistent. He unpacked deep areas of my life which had been buried and forgotten. Deep, very Deep areas. WELLS (as he refers to these areas) used as the metaphors. (Gen. 26) He spoke plainly to me. Through means of our various communication. I need you to surrender "this" to me. I want you to push forward. Trust me. I have shown you what Radical Faith is, You know my word, You know I watch over it to perform it, You know it does not return void, You know ME, you abide with me. Now trust me, now...Start digging.

I prayed and asked God to take me to the Root. Take me to the bottom of the WELLS, so the unpacking, digging up of all the layers of dirt can be cast away and I can say, I HAVE FOUND WATER! LIVING WATER.

Prayer Family, this is only but a portion of what God is doing in my life right now. He had shown me that I have been alive and existing in this life but not LIVING. We all have history. Things that we have buried deep in wells and covered. Its time for you to Surrender. So God can take you too the areas in your life, to the roots of your trees, the wells that hold your Living Water, the caterpillar that will become your Butterfly, the boy that will become a Man or that girl who will become that Woman. Don't let the darkness keep you where light can sustain you. Its time to start experiencing real living...

This prayer if for YOU.

CALL ON ME-JEREMIAH 33:3

HEAVENLY FATHER I COME TO YOU IN JESUS CHRIST'S HOLY NAME. I SURRENDER MYSELF TO YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT. YOUR WORD SAYS IN JEREMIAH 33 VERSE 3 TO CALL UPON YOU AND YOU WILL SHOW ME GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS THAT I DO NOT KNOW. LORD GOD I COME TO YOU AND CRY OUT, I CALL UNTO YOU CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, I ASK YOU TO SHOW ME GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS, OF THE UNFATHOMABLE RICHES OF YOUR GLORY AND SPLENDOR, ALL THAT YOU ARE, HELP ME TO PLUMB THE DEPTH OF YOUR BEING AND KNOW YOU, I WORSHIP YOU, I PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME, AMEN.

Blessings to you.

One last note.... Journey's are not easy. They are not meant to be. If you find one that is, ask yourself if your really on one. Each experience is unique. God Speed on yours.

Friendship

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand,
nor the kindly smile,
nor the joy of companionship;
it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when
he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing
to trust him.

I've been waiting.... Part 2

It has been a moment.... patiently waiting for the time to write. But I have been on a journey, one of profound revelation. When Jesus say's he will do it for you. He means just what he says.

Thus far, he has taken me beyond the fruit of my concerns to the root of the matter to eradicate the weeds that sought to destroy the love he has for me. Being placed in the mirror of life to take a significant look at the one He loved from the creation of this earth, the one He knew before she was formed in her mothers womb, the one whom He loves with an everlasting love has been difficult. Still standing there, I have come to appreciate and love God more. He loves ME and there is nothing I can/cannot do about that. That may seem strange but what I am simply saying is-even if you don't believe in him; He still loves you. And if you do, you still don't have to do anything.

I don't have to do anything for His love. I'm already accepted.  This is but a brief moment of sharing....
The journey continues, stay with me to see how the story begins.

WOMEN OF GOD

LORD, may we open our hearts to Your Spirit
and open our minds to Your plans.
Help us to serve those around us with loving and
willing hands. May we give You all the glory in
everything that we do; may we be women of God
with a passion for following You.

I've been waiting

There have been moments which have passed by great ones with so much love and joy expressed,  I wondered how to capture them all to express there sentiments forever. I have yet to come up with an idea,  so, they weigh deep within my thoughts basking within the flow and ebbs of my contemplations.

Of late I've thought of Job and how he wished his word were written down on a scroll, how he wished they were carved with an iron pen into lead or carved into stone forever, for those who'd come after him to know and believe that the Redeemer Lives.(Job 19:23-26)

Oh, taste and see... this is how I feel! I have been waiting to write and I shall wait some more as the conversation continues between my LORD and I.  The experience of life, the great ones, and each experience is great no matter the cost. For every lesson caught, taught or learned wanes in the ebb and flows of my heart... waiting to be broken bread and poured out wine.

The Present

It will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.
His bed was next to the room ' s only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end.
They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon,  when the man in the
bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.
Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind ' s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with
descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.
She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.

Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.

If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't  buy.

"Today is a gift, that is why it is called
   The Present ."

The origin of this letter is unknown, but it brings blessings to everyone who passes it on.

"A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
that a man should have to seek Him first to find her."

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain..
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!
